Succession
There are two types of succession and those types are, primary and secondary. Primary succession occurs in a new environment lacking soil such as lava flow or areas left from retreated glacier. Secondary succession is when an area is reviving itself from a natural disaster such as a forest fire of a tornado.
There are many prairie fires in the temperate grassland. This is a good example of secondary succession.
